– PORSCHE 550 & 356 –
The first wheel dedicated to Porsche was the Borrani RW2927 designed on 06.05.1953 for the 550 spyder with a 3.50×16โ rim and presented throughout the whole international circuit starting with the 1954 Bruxelles show.
On the 3th of October 1953 Borrani designed the RW2959 dedicated to 356 equipped with 15″ rim, while the traditional Borrani wire wheel transformation kit was offered with a 16″rim. Following the introduction of the ATE disc brakes in 1964, the RW4067 will appear featuring, of course, no need to add the change of drum brakes.
